Recently, The Signal has made strides in its content—offering more in-depth coverage of how the industry is advancing through innovative products and technology, advocacy efforts and legislation on both the state and federal levels, and public awareness of the importance of roadway safety. Given our efforts to make our content more engaging, we thought it was the perfect time to revamp our look to match. As you read through the first issue of 2018, you’ll notice we have included a bolder emphasis on graphics and photos. The overall design is more modern with a more open, mini- malistic structure. It is our hope that the new design of The Signal carries you through the magazine easily and effortlessly, and justly high- lights our member contributions and coverage. We hope in the next several issues to perfect our new look, making the necessary tweaks that will fulfill the mission The Signal is meant to—start dialogues, open communication, and provide meaningful information. 3
