Each of the five ATSSA members who joined the Board of Directors in January comes with a different priority, but all share ATSSA’s mission to advance road - way safety andwork TowardZeroDeaths. Bill Lovewell, president of Lovewell Fenc - ing Inc. inDavenport, Iowa, is nearing the end of his career and wanted to use his knowledge and experience to further ATSSA’sworkbefore leaving theworkforce. “After being in this industry for so many years, I feel it is important that I serve the organization that has benefitedme greatly professionally before I retire,” Lovewell said. “Over the years I have been involved in ATSSA, I have found the value to be immeasurable. Not only have I been kept well informed, but I have direct access to sources of information I would not otherwise be privy to.” Lovewell chaired the Guardrail Commit - tee for four years and saidhewantsmore companies to learn about the benefits of participating in the Association. The five newmembers joined the board at this year’s Convention & Traffic Expo in NewOrleans. The board has 15 voting members who serve two-year terms.
