A C P A N E W S Concrete Pavement Progress 26 www.acpa.org ACPA Mid-Year Meeting THIS YEAR’S MID-YEAR MEETING IN NEWPORT, RHODE ISLAND, WAS A HUGE SUCCESS! The Sustainability 501 & 502 courses gave at tendees a deep dive into the science behind concrete pavement's sustainability benefits and tools on how to talk about it. Members enjoyed a sunset cruise on the historic Rum Runner II as well as a dueling pianos reception at the Top of the Pelham. Numerous leading voices from academia and industry gave insight ful and compelling presentations. Alongside diligent committee work, the meeting featured remarks from Chairman Peter DeFazio and the passage of ACPA’s new Strategic Plan.
