The specific advantages and disadvantages of performing CPR within the dental operatory will be discussed. This program utilizes hands-on practice sessions for all participants. Topics to be covered will include heart attacks and strokes (signs and symptoms), sudden cardiac arrest/ defibrillation, airway obstruction (choking), respiratory emergencies, anaphylactic reactions, emergency drug kits and more. Upon successful completion of this course, participants will gain the knowledge and hands-on experience needed to administer CPR safely and effectively.
