ASSOCIATE MEMBER SPOTLIGHTS Predestined Hauling, LLC Brothers Paving & Concrete Predestined Hauling, LLC provides hauling services for public work jobs, private developer projects, and environmental initiatives, specializing in transporting all forms of aggregate for all size jobs. Founded in 2010 by James “Big Red” Sinclair, Predestined Hauling now owns and operates nearly 40 trucks and works with 150 independent contractors on jobs of various scale and complexity: the culmination of Sinclair’s 33 years of industry experience—as well as his childhood dream. For the majority of its history, Predestinated Hauling has managed construction and dump trucks primarily in Virginia. However, in the last eight years they’ve obtained DBE certification and expanded operations throughout Tennessee, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, and Florida. Predestined also maintains its own fully-staffed office and mechanical shop to support the operations of this robust fleet, and is proud to offer a digital platform and ticketing system to serve its clients efficiently. Working with companies like Ulliman Schutte, Alberici, Allan Myers, and Branscome allows Predestined Hauling to participate in major projects including heavy highway paving, tunnel paving, ASSOCIATE MEMBER SPOTLIGHTS major airport paving, and annual city paving schedules. They have been involved in such projects as Chambers Field, Norfolk Naval Base Project, Interstate 664 Widening Project, Swift Hard Water Treatment Facility, Midtown Tunnel Widening Project, and more. This growing company is “no overnight success story but a testimony to what hard work, dedication, and faith can build.” Brothers Development originally launched in 1985 on a small industrial yard in Chantilly, and in 1998 formalized as Brothers Paving and Concrete, led by founder and CEO Paul Battista. Ten years later, Brothers Paving focused its business on HOA commercial maintenance and began its growth toward a national footprint. As an essential business during the COVID-19 Pandemic, Brothers Paving and Concrete tackled much-needed maintenance projects while office buildings were vacated, and was proud to uphold its promise of full-time compensation and continued healthcare benefits for its team. Recently, Battista finalized negotiations with Florida-based Trivest Partners to establish Brothers National, a conglomerate of more than ten offices under the Brothers name.
