The Safer Roads 2020 International Conferencewill be heldMay 12–14 inRich - mond, Va. This triennial event convenes roadway safety professionals and trans - portationofficials fromaround the globe. The conference is held in conjunction with the American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials’ (AASHTO) Committee on Safety meet - ing and brings together industry leaders, government officials, corporate roadway department personnel, and others in the roadway safety industry, with a focus on working better together. “ATSSA is proud to bring individuals in the roadway safety infrastructure industry together from across the globe,” said Donna Clark, ATSSA vice president of member services. “Internationally, we’ve taken great strides to help save lives with innovations in various areas such as pavement markings, signs, signals, and intelligent transportation systems. This year’s conference will be an opportunity to reflect upon those advancements and discuss what lies ahead.” Conference participants gather to learn, network, and discover the latest indus - try best practices to improve roadway safety.
