In Oregon, this continuum of care is provided through settings that allow Oregonians to maintain their dignity, independence, and autonomy within safe environments. The continuum includes in-home care; senior retirement housing; community-based care communities (assisted living, residential care, and memory care); and skilled nursing facilities.
