31 www.ortrucking.org Issue 1 | 2020 Public Buyer’s Guide Visibility for Allied Members, Resource for Carriers If you haven’t checked it out yet, you may want to pay the online Buyer’s Guide a visit. Not only is it great visibility for our allied members to promote their business (based on category), but it’s also a quick way for carriers to find these products and services. Have questions, suggestions, or want to advertise? View the guide on our website at www.ortrucking.org/buyers-guide. Contact Ronnie Jacko at LLM Publications at 503.445.2224 or ronniej@llmpubs.com. Increased Exposure for Annual Sponsors Custom Packages Available With all the noise, we know it’s difficult to communicate your business offering to other companies. OTA hosts 8+ annual events per year and has a digital and printed presence, and we want to help you advertise! Let us help you develop a well- rounded annual sponsorship package that meets your budget and gives you the most exposure to get the results you want. New this year—we are displaying our sponsors in a slideshow that will play during the breaks at training classes and events! Interested? Contact Christine Logue at christine@ortrucking.org . OTA Image Award Application Coming Soon Now in it’s third year, OTA and the Image Committee will be accepting applications for the 2020 Image Award. All members who are making a positive impact on the image of the trucking industry in their community, at their organization, and to the public and decision-makers are encouraged to apply. Visit the website for the application form or email info@ortrucking.org for questions. Train the Trainer Recap in Southern Oregon —and Back Soon OTA hosted another three-day Train the Trainer class at Seven Feathers Casino in Canyonville, OR in January. The curriculum is designed to help trainers teach adult learners such as analyzing the audience, developing and implementing effective curriculum, and evaluating its effectiveness on the students. Instructors were Adam Williamson, OTA’s Director of Training & Development and OTA member, George Wood with TP Trucking (thank you, George!). The next course will be scheduled late summer or early fall of 2020, so to get on the roster. Contact OTA at info@ortrucking.org .
