Origins & The Early Days
Our founder, Linda Pope, got her start in publishing working as a sales manager
for a small local newspaper in Oregon. Looking for a chance to strike out on
her own and use her skills in the publishing field to help people, she soon realized
that there was an opportunity to help many associations with their publication
needs. Linda took a leap of faith in herself and her first association partners and
founded LLM Publications in 1989.
Our founder worked long, hard hours and did what it took to make LLM Publications successful and able to grow, including setting up sawhorse tables all over her house in order to create magazine layouts for her association partners. Often facing uncertainty, Linda put her heart and soul into each of her clients and employees in order to steadily grow the company and create a foundation for success.

Additionally, Stephen has worked hard to transform the culture of the company to be more collaborative, inclusive and transparent.
Through the many partnerships that LLM has developed, we’ve created a very diverse clientele and team within our office, working with a number of industries across the U.S., including but not limited to: medical, dental, building, legal, logging, transportation, restaurants & lodging, and more. Growth at LLM can be contributed to our endless obsession with transparency with our association partners.
