NMDA Fiesta Registration Kit 2021

4 2021 Fiesta NMDA June 17–19, 2021 New Mexico Dental Association is an ADA CERP Recognized Provider Frequently Asked Questions What is a “hybrid” meeting? Fiesta NMDA will be held as an in-person meeting in Albuquerque and the live courses will be available simultaneously on- line. Participants may join from anywhere using a computer or mobile device. Most of the courses will be recorded and will be available on-demand at the Fiesta NMDA website to those that registered for the meeting. Do I need to register to attend the Fiesta NMDA Hybrid Event? Yes. You will register for Fiesta NMDA in the same way you registered last year. If you’ve attended a previous NMDA event, your information will be stored in the system. Why can’t I register my entire office together? Since registrants will have access to the online event as well as the live event, each registrant must provide their own email address. In order to give credit to all attendees, each attendee will have to log-in on their own device with their own ID code. You may watch together, but will each have to log-in on a phone or other device with internet access. How do I log in to the registration website? Dentists should use their ADA number as the username and personal password. If you are not a dentist and you have an account, use the username and password you used previously. If you don’t remember a password, use the reset link. If this is the first time you have registered as an individual, you will use the link to set-up a new account. How do I log in to Fiesta NMDA livestream on the day of the event? Your login details will be emailed to you ahead of the event. You can use these details to access both the livestreamed event and to watch on-demand recordings after the event. Will the virtual meeting fulfill licensing and certificate requirements? Yes. Live virtual events count as normal CE hours. If you attend the on-demand or recorded courses, they will count as self- study credits. The timings of the live sessions are not convenient for me. Can I still participate in the event? The event will remain open 24/7 for 30 days. Therefore, you can attend whenever it’s convenient for you during this period of time. Where will the event be held? The live event will be held at the Albuquerque Convention Center. The virtual event will be held on the Expopass platform we used for the Virtual Series this Spring. You do not have to travel to any specific location. You can participate in the virtual event anywhere that you have internet access. The event is accessible from desktop, mobile, and tablet devices. Will I be able to take away any documents or files from the event? Yes. Course handouts and exhibitor materials can be downloaded and saved or printed using your local device. Those that attend the meeting in-person will be encouraged to use the mobile app to access handouts. Can I invite my colleagues and friends to attend the event? Absolutely. We are counting on you to invite others! Help us spread the word. One nice thing about a hybrid meeting is that you can attend from anywhere. You can simply share the link to this page via email or social media, and they can register at their convenience. Do I need to download or install any software to be able to attend this event? No. You only need to have access to the internet. We do recommend that everyone install the Expopass event app to facilitate receiving credit for classes and procuring handouts.
