28  • PENNSYLVANIA RESTAURANT & LODGING matters • Summer 2019 MEMBER MILESTONES PRLA Educational Foundation awards more than $40,000 in scholarships for 2019–20 school year The Pennsylvania Restaurant & Lodging Association Educational Foundation (PRLAEF) is pleased to announce the recipients of its 2019 scholarship awards. Richard Kubach Jr., the former chairman of the PRLA Board of Directors, operated multiple restaurant and hotels in the Philadelphia area, and his passion for the industry led him to create this scholarship to help Philadelphia students who share that passion.
